I took a poll of what we think some of the best albums came out in the year 2011.

I went around the school and polled classes, people in the hall and at luch. From the looks of it the school thinks that the Drake - Take Care album was the best this year as i expected. what i didnt expect is that the Watch The Throne Album didnt get so many votes as much as i hear people in this school blasting and rapping along i figured it would have way more than 22votes. The ladies got the Beyonce in at seconed with 32 votes. While J. Cole and the Mahbach Music Group go head to head for the 3rd spot with a number or 30 votes.

I have listened to songs from all of these albums and i think that they all did a good job this year its kind of hard to just pick one to be the best but I do think that the students at Metro did pick one that i would consider the best album of the year 2011.

To me i totally agree with the outcome of the servey. I really do love, Love & Hip-Hop I watch it all the time I really don't care about all the other shows because personally they suck! Like Baseball wives..really i think they just made that show just because it has no point and no meaning these are girls are RETIRED baseball players wives nobody cares. Atleast Love & Hip-Hop had some relevance.

    There are a lot of rumors speculating around Beyonce’s pregnancy. Beyonce and her unborn child have been the talk of the town for a couple months since her big announcement at the VMA’s in August of 2011.

Since then she has released music videos, “Party”, “Countdown”, “Best Thing I Never Had”,“Love On Top” and “Dance For You”. Fans seem to wonder if her pregnancy is false, considering that in most of her videos she doesn’t look pregnant. She claims that in her new video “Countdown” she was wearing a body suit to hide her baby bump. In her videos she was rolling around on the floor and doing a whole lot of body shaking all while in high heels and supposedly being now eight months pregnant.
My team and I think that she’s really not pregnant. We find it hard to believe that she could do all those moves and wear super high heels and still be pregnant because every person we talk to who has been or is now pregnant, feet swell up to the point where they can’t wear high heels. But we will see by the end of December if she really is or not.

Picture A shows Beyonce on the beach with a little belly.

Picture B is when the whole world found out that Beyonce was pregnant. It was at the 2011 VMA'S. The pictures shows Beyonce holding her belly.

Picture C shows Beyonce in her countdown video. She doesn't look pregnant at all. This video was released on October 6, 2011. Two months after she announced her pregnancy. Beyonce said she used extremely tight clothing to cover it up, but I don't believe that.

Picture D shows Beyonce about to sit down and her "belly" flops. This was an interview and everyone who saw the show noticed her belly and where in shock.

*UPDATE*

  After we did this blog post it was announced on January 7th, 2012 that Beyonce's "baby" was born. It was a girl named Blue Ivy Carter.There still hasn't been a picture released of the baby but Jay-Z has aleady released a song, "Glory" dedicated to his new baby girl.

Top Ten Most Profited Movies Of 2011

 Many movies have come out in the past year from family movies to horrors, but there were only ten movies that really shined and earned the most money:

The tenth most profited movie is Captain America: The First Avenger. It made $368,608,363. I think that the movie poster was good considering that this wasn't the only poster they came out with.

The ninth most profited movie is Rise of The Planet of The Apes. It made $481,282,802. I think the movie poster is bad, but that didn't effect how much people went to see it and considering how much they made.
The eight most profited movie is Thor. It made $449.3 million. I think the poster is good because is shows Thor slamming his hammer in the ground and it shows more of the characters in the movie in the background.
The seventh most profited movie is Cars 2. It made $559,852,396. I think the poster is good because it shows Lightning and Mater with two new characters. It also shows Earth in the background signaling that they crew would be racing around the world.
The sixth most profited movie is Fast Five. It made $626.1 million. I think the poster is good because this is the 5 movie of the "series" so whatever they make is good considering that the movie was really good and this poster shows that it would be good.
The fifth most profited movie is Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. It made $1,043,871,802. I think the movie poster is really bad but that didn't effect how much people wanted to see the movie considering how much they made.

The fourth most profited movie is The Hangover Part 2. It made $581,464,305. I think the poster is good because it shows just how crazy this movie is going to be. From a tattoo on a guy face to a monkey.

The third most profited movie is Breaking Dawn Part 1. It made $701,271,000. I think the poster is good and bad because the posters for this saga is always the same. The three main characters are in the front while the rest are always in the back.

The second most profited movie is Transformers: Dark of the Moon. It made $1,123,746,996. I think the movie poster is good. It is very theatrical because it shows the moon and a deceptacon? behind it. It also says "be afraid of the dark" maybe hinting that they are on the dark side of the moon just like the title also hints that.

The most profited movie of 2011 is Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2. It made $1,328,111,219 which isn't a surprise. I think this poster of many from this movie was bad because it makes me think "it all end with a stare down?" Just because the poster was bad didn't mean people didn't go see. This movie was #1 because it was the final Harry Potter movie since it all started in 2001.
